September 10, 2006, Sunday:  Bangladesh parade at the LA County Fairground. 12 noon to 1 PM. About 30 to 40 countries participate in this parade, and Bangladesh is one of the countries to participate. The Bangladesh participation was agreed at the BUFLA meeting on August 27, 2006. The invitation came to our Consulate office from the LA City office, and this message was conveyed for discussion in the Aug-27 BUFLA meeting. The parade will be lead by our honorable Consul General, and the students of the Bangla Pathshala will join the parade with colorful and traditional Bangladeshi dress. All of our community members are requested to please come to the Mela by 11 AM, and cheerup our kids in the parade. The LA county fairground is in Pomona near the intersection of I-10 and Highway 57. The address is 1101 West McKinley Ave, Pomona, CA 91768.
