1. About 25 people attended this meeting representing various different Organizations.

2. The Finance report was presented.

3. The Constitution Committee presented their draft constitution.

4. The Mtg ended at 5:30 PM

5. Next General Body meeting is on May 20, 2007, Sunday starting at 2 PM at Shatto.

Agenda Discussion:

At first the Agenda of the meeting was presented and discussed. It was unanimously approved. Then the meeting started.

Item – 1: (Introductions)

All the attendees introduced themselves individually.

Item – 2: (Round the table comments about the Bangladesh Day Parade)

This item was decided to be skipped.

Item – 3: Financial Reports.

The table below shows the summary of the daily balance of the BUFLA Bank account. A more detail report with the names of all the donors and Sponsors were also presented in the meeting by Mahbub Khan. The account balance as of this mtg-day was $3887.60. There were still some bills unpaid, and the projection was a net positive balance of about 2 thousand dollars for the entire program of Bangladesh Day celebration with parade on April 1, 2007. The total collection of fund to-date was $27,596.00

i) Constitution Committee Report:

The Constitution committee made their presentation. The entire set of Constitution and Bylaws were read-out in this meeting by Dr. Hashem. There were some discussion and feedback. The recommendation of the team to the Committee was to post the Constitution and Bylaws on the BUFLA website so that everyone can give feedback.

The next meeting date is on May 20, 2007, Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shatto Recreation Center, 3191 W. 4^th Street, Los Angeles,CA 90020.
