BUFLA Executive Committee Meeting (EC-Mtg).

Agenda for February 3, 2008

Dear Friends,

Salaam and Greetings to all of you.

The BUFLA Executive Committee (EC) meeting will be held as per the following:

Date:               February 3, 2008, Sunday
Time:              2:00 PM  to 4:00 PM  (Please come on time)
Location: Shatto Recreation Center,  3191 W. 4^th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020. (on 4th Street near Vermont).

Attendees of this EC Meeting:

 (i)  Two of the lead persons of each of the 40 Organizations who have filled out the BUFLA membership form are invited to attend this EC meeting. The attending two lead persons need to be any 2 of the 4 persons whose names have been written in the BUFLA membership registration form. If none of the 4 lead persons of an organization are available to attend a particular meeting, then this organization can assign another person to represent it in that meeting by notifying before the meeting. There will be designated seatings for the organizational representatives.

(ii)   All media personnel are cordially invited to attend this meeting. There will be a designated area for the Media personnel.

Remaining Organizations and Individuals:

(i)  All remaining organizations who have not filled out the BUFLA membership forms yet, are cordially invited to please do so in order to be able to attend this EC meeting, and to participate in the preparation for the Bangladesh Day parade on March 30, 2008.

(ii)  Any community members, who are not EC members of any of the organizations but are interested to help and to participate in the preparation for the parade, are welcome, but please consider joining one of the BUFLA member organizations before doing so.

All of these Action Committees are for the EC members only. All Action committees are open for members who are qualified to serve in these specific task positions, and are also willing to serve. There is an Assignment Acceptance Form to be signed by the Committee members. No individual can serve in more than two committees. The Action Comittees are as follows:

(ii)   Stage setup, booth setup, booth collection, sound system, etc.:
